One Week!

The past couple of days have been wonderful.
Yesterday I had an interview at Premiere Academy (an early childhood development center here in Dallas. I think that went well but I am just merely a little frustrated that I feel that my lack of experience might hurt me. It would be a 2 year commitment and a 9:30am-6:30pm job. wheph! If this is not the job for me or if it is, I am still asking for God's guidance and his will to be done. He has provided for me my whole life, even more abundantly than I could have imagined and I just pray that this is all for his glory! I will keep ya'll posted and again, thanks for your prayers! Its such a joy to be surrounded by so many believers that I know are there for me even when I do not see them on a daily basis.
Last night while Karl was working I got to meet with 2 amazing girls who also happened to be recently engaged within the last few months. We had a great time talking about how God is working in our lives and our relationships, telling romantic stories and just having a fun time. Oh and good food too. Yummy BJ's!
Today Karls ring finally came!! YAY!!! BUT.... we missed it and wont be able to pick it up at the POBox until tomorrow because it came certified mail and we were at lunch when the mailman came. BOO! So thats TWICE that we have missed the mail coming- and both of our rings. ha. So I guess on the agenda tomorrow is to go pick that up. Hopefully its all he ever dreamed of (because I'm so sure that he has been dreaming about his wedding band ha!- not!) and that it fits on his finger.
Lunch was amazing today. I FINALLY got to hang out with some of my favorite IBM people!

(this is a pic of one of my besties, Dana, oh how I had missed her!)

It had been tooooo long! And to make things better we went to my favorite deli- Hang Out in Coppell! :-D wahoo! So ... all in all... wonderful day. However, I really missed my daughter, the fry master :( Sadness. Come back to me love!
Well the real countdown is on!!! 7 Days...!!! And there are still several last minute things that I would like to do. I would like to do a little shopping... im not completely happy with the outcome of the shoes I have, so I might take another look at some other stores. We need to finish our vows. Make dinner reservations. CLEAN MY HOUSE!! figure out how I am going to do my hair... and get my nails and toes done... duh! :) I get to pamper myself for this right?! Any suggestions are more than welcome and appreciated.
Happy Friday to all and have a WONDERFUL weekend!!

(right after we got our marriage license today!)

FINALLY got my ring today!! It was so crazy how giddy I was trying to rip into the packaging that it was in ha! I was like a little kid at christmas :-P My ring is absolutely beautiful and I just kept telling KJ that I wanted to wear it ... NOW! ha (We are still waiting on his ring...)
We then went to the visitors center and got some info for our out-of-town guests that will be here in just a matter of time... ahhh i can NOT wait :)
Followed that by a trip to the courthouse where we filled out an application for our Marriage License and got it... all for only $7 dollars ha! And no waiting period because we completed 8 hours of premarital counseling. Craziness, it just seemed so easy, I kept telling KJ that I thought there would be more that you had to do, but nope. And for the first time I saw "Mr and Mrs Pueschel..." wow! cool feeling!! :) yes. full of smiles today.
We had a great time driving around, and we are still in the process of deciding on where to go eat in the DFW metroplex for dinner after our marriage... any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated! :)
Oh and to top all of that off, I am WORKING tomorrow, just for the day, babysitting from 8:45-2:00 :) YAY im excited ha!
Love yall all!!

Rings on the way!

As most of you know a couple of weeks ago I picked out my wedding band. Well I got a call yesterday morning saying that its ready!! wahoo! so my ring is on its way to my house right as we speak! So to make things even better yesterday we ordered Karl's ring too! That was a little of an adventure because really he didn't have a strong opinion about what he wanted but the final product is really nice, I like it a lot and I think that he will also. I'm so glad that we both "have" our rings and cant wait to actually HAVE them in our hands... and better yet, ON our hands! :)
here it is:

So today was a fun day too. I slept in a little and then spent the afternoon on the job search. Im kinda in a tiff... I have been applying for some full time jobs at daycares/ preschools that have benefits but I have not heard back from them yet. Today, out of the blue I get a call from one of my wonderful friends and she knows of someone that is looking for a teacher for a 4 year old classroom three days a week, the only problem here is that its part time but more importantly there are no benefits... :-/ hmmm so what do i do?? That's the question of the day. your thoughts?? leave em' :)
Then tonight... cooked some chicken, beans, potatoes and rolls. I wanna know why on the rolls it says to bake for 8-10 minutes so I put them on for 6 and they were burnt??!! Grrr gets me every time. I also had my first attempt of making homemade sweet tea... but apparently I added way too much sugar, oops! ha.
Sorry for not updating this weekend. We had a great time roaming Dallas and going to church on Saturday night. It was a really good time. Time is rolling away so I guess I will go for now. TTFN! ;)

oh and PS- just so you know...you can leave me comments... and I LOVE THEM! (just click something at the bottom of my post along the lines of ... "piece of mind..." ... i think. ha okay done for now.

and here is a comment from my wonderful aunt:
For Grandmother's sweet tea.....boil several cups of water, pour over 4 reg size tea bags in a 2 quart pitcher, add 2/3 cup sugar and stir. Let steep(sit awhile), squeeze out the teabags and discard, add water to make 2 quarts and refrigerate!!!! easy as pie,
especially after you do it a time or 2 or 200???? You can use 2 family sized teabags instead of 4 regular ones.................
GOOD LUCK.
love you,
d

What a VERY Productive Day!

What started out as just a fun shopping day with my aunt ended up being a very productive day! I got up around 830am (gasp) then ran some errands and headed to the mall! We had planned on making our first stop at Chick-fil-A (my favorite) but on the way through one of the department stores, a beautiful white dress caught my eye. I grabbed it an a couple others to try on and the first dress was the one I wanted. I had been a little worried about finding a dress that was nice but not too nice, while at the same time something casual, but not something that resembled a beach cover-up. yah know what I mean? Crazy how the first dress I spotted was IT! :)
Well as if things weren't already going good enough for me we decided to make a few stops at some jewelry stores... this happens to be one of the positives of being from a small town- people know you- and you can find some good deals that way ha! I designed my wedding band and it is currently being custom made! It is going to match my BREATHTAKING engagement ring that I absolutely adore. I can NOT wait...Its so crazy to think this is something that I am going to be wearing for the REST OF MY LIFE! Nuts! Anyways, I'm on cloud 9 and happier than ever that things are finally coming together and I can NOT wait to spend the rest of my life with the LOVE OF MY LIFE, and BEST FRIEND!! WAHOO!!
