34 Weeks... 6 or less to go! :)

How far along?
34 weeks!6 or less to go!

Size of baby: Baby is the size of a cantaloupe (approx 4 3/4lbs!)

Weight Gain: 13lbs?

Maternity Clothes: yes and some dresses that aren't :)

Sleep: better this week... getting up once for a bathroom break

Best Moment of this week:
ahhhh! I'm getting so close!
getting more done with the house and a great report at the doctor yesterday (34 weeks 2 days)
I weighed in at 173.8
Raleigh Grace's heart rate was 142 bpm (she was resting for once ha!)
My blood pressure was really good: 106/60
She was already head down towards the birth canal (the doctor said her head wasnt "floating" but rather in position- which is great in first time mom's), and the doc felt her heel right up by my ribs which explains all the pain.  Also, she said her bottom was on the right of my body slightly below my ribs (reason for my backache possibly... or the "girls" growing and me having bad posture ha go figure...)

Symptoms:
back pain, back pain, back pain.  Finally purchased a heating pad (actually K got it for me sweet man!), not sure if it really works but I continue to use it!

Movement:
yes, lots! I love it :) mainly just little punches and kicks here and there... some slightly uncomfortable but not "painful" thankfully!

Food cravings:
cheese... plain or cheese toast... whatever works ha & icecream sandwiches... or any icecream (surprise, surprise!) K always jokes that when RG is kicking me its because she is mad I haven't fed her her icecream for the day yet ha :)

Aversions: can't think of anything

What I miss: nothing really pregnancy related.  I've been missing TX, our home, the school I taught at last year (&my kids-- I have been dreaming almost every night about teaching and my kids), and of course our friends in TX

Gender: LOVE LOVE LOVE my little Raleigh Grace sooo much :) can't wait to hold her and kiss her!!

What I'm looking forward to: going to the beach this weekend for one last trip before RG comes! also, getting our house FINISHED and the nursery started (& finished hopefully! ha)

Baby bump:
having some fun with the mirrors

feeling like I'm running out of room in there for her!

Little Miss at 34 weeks
How your baby's growing:
Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds (like your average cantaloupe) and is almost 18 inches long. Her fat layers — which will help regulate her body temperature once she's born — are filling her out, making her rounder. Her skin is also smoother than ever. Her central nervous system is maturing and her lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor, you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies.

how your body's changing:
By this week, fatigue has probably set in again, though maybe not with the same coma-like intensity of your first trimester. Your tiredness is perfectly understandable, given the physical strain you're under and the restless nights of frequent pee breaks and tossing and turning, while trying to get comfortable. Now's the time to slow down and save up your energy for labor day (and beyond). If you've been sitting or lying down for a long time, don't jump up too quickly. Blood can pool in your feet and legs, causing a temporary drop in your blood pressure when you get up that can make you feel dizzy.
