31 Weeks...

31 weeks!

(July 31- August 6)

lets see...
I love sno cones!
I'm hungry all the time
I get overheated easily.
I love watching my belly wiggle
My belly feels "tight" as in ... running out of room.
I feel like I can smell something a mile away.
Back pain has set in good.
I keep my hand on my belly a lot... I just love feeling her moving around!
Nasal spray is becoming a good friend of mine due to my stuffy nose.
We are looking to do ONE more 3D ultrasound before she gets here if we can find someone to do them for a reasonable price.
Still no signs of labor (praise God!)
This little girl loves being crammed up under (or against) my right rib cage... causes constant pain.
I am so excited about meeting my little Raleigh Grace... everything I do, I think... in a couple months I will be doing this with my daughter! I love her so much already!
K & I are going on a "babymoon" for the week and I couldn't be more excited to get away for the week with just my hubby! :) :) :) :) :)

How my baby is growing:
This week, your baby measures over 16 inches long. He weighs about 3.3 pounds (try carrying four navel oranges) and is heading into a growth spurt. He can turn his head from side to side, and his arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath his skin. He's probably moving a lot, too, so you may have trouble sleeping because your baby's kicks and somersaults keep you up. {they aren't keeping me up yet} Take comfort: All this moving is a sign that your baby is active and healthy.

How my life is changing:
Have you noticed the muscles in your uterus tightening now and then? {not yet!} Many women feel these random contractions — called Braxton Hicks contractions — in the second half of pregnancy. Often lasting about 30 seconds, they're irregular, and at this point, they should be infrequent and painless. Frequent contractions, on the other hand — even those that don't hurt — may be a sign of preterm labor. Call your practitioner immediately if you have more than four contractions in an hour or any other signs of preterm labor: an increase in vaginal discharge or a change in the type of discharge (if it becomes watery, mucus-like, or bloody — even if it's pink or just tinged with blood); abdominal pain or menstrual-like cramping; an increase in pressure in the pelvic area; or low back pain, especially if you didn't have it before.

  1. First off, you look so cute! I love your shorts! Are those maternity?! And watching my belly "wiggle" around is one of my favorite things :-) I actually am watching her move around right now and managed to get a little video clip of it! MIRACLE, seriously she's so camera shy! Have fun on your Babymoon!!! That sounds so fun! :-) YAY for having your hubby back!
