Guest Post: Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue

Hello Allie's blog friends!  This is her husband, coming to you live from our living room!  Allie and Raleigh Grace have headed to the coast for the next couple of days, but I had to stay behind for work.  That being said, I figured I would take the opportunity to tell y'all about our 4th of July family celebration that actually took place on the 3rd of July.
For those of you who are not from North Carolina, the only thing bigger than barbeque is racing.  You'll be hard pressed to find a NC native that has not been to a race of some sort.  My preferred form of racing is auto.  We had an impromptu trip to the NASCAR Hall of Fame on Saturday with my sister, and A & RG were leaving for the beach, so I decided we'd all go to the track for a Legends Series race and fireworks.  This was Raleigh Grace's first trip to the speedway and she was a champ! This was also the first event of any kind she had to have her own admission ticket.  Crazy child is gettin' big!  For some reason we didn't take a family photo of this great evening, but here are some photos:
RG and our Goddaughter Hayden
Squirms and I
RG and my "lil' bro" Mike
Know anyone else that can make earplugs look this good?
Legends Cars (1/5 scale '20s coupes)
Hayden's silly face after a blue icee
She got a lil' crazy and took her top off, haha
Bad accident, they had to take the driver out on a backboard
The winner was #20, he got a giant check for 25k!
Wifey enjoying a night at the track

Hope everyone else had a wonderful 4th!  Y'all be safe and have a good one! ~K
